Hair Disorders

Is there such thing as cutting hair compulsive disorder?
I only ask because I cut my hair, literally, out little by little, then I Sorry for a few minutes and never lasts until I look in the mirror check to re-examine and if they are or are sufficient clean dosent cut another piece and continues until my hair is very short or until it looks neat and not all irregular. It is the opposite of what I do but I want long hair. I constantly keep twilling my hair and can not stop!
Not a hair pulling disorder, trichotillomania. What you describe sound like a reaction to stress in some form. He is described as a perfectionist who can not stop thinking about it until it's perfect. That also could be a mask for a deeper reason for hair cut in chunks. Why not slice or going to a stylist? Some people cut their hair in desperation or internal self-hatred. But perhaps I'm looking too deep to not be completely away.
