My son is 5 almost 6 and is capable washing. He has shown he can wash his own body (except hair). Is this the right age? moms with a unique experience …. How old were you allow your child to start being responsible for washing themselves?

My 3 and 4 years of age, children are washed. (Except the hair) I stay in the room bathing with them to keep an eye on them and help when needed. My son is 4 years old, you do so at your own (with the exception of hair) while the child 3 years still need help. Always wash your private parts but because they are at the age that I do not want anyone to see.
